RINGGOLD Cynthia Kay Matthews, 53, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, in a local hospital.She had lived most of her life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas. Cindy was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, Gateway Campus, where she worked in the childrens ministry and in hospitality where her smiling face will be missed. Cindy loved to sing in the choir and with the Praise Team, and her beautiful voice will be missed.Survivors are loving husband of 32 1/2 years, Randy Matthews; daughter, Delia Matthews, Ringgold; father, Charles Holt, Fairhope, Ala.; mother, Shirley Holt, Chattanooga; brother, Chuck Holt Jr., Chattanooga; sister, Chris Baker, Hixson; and her loving Molly.A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. today in Oakwood Baptist Church, Gateway Campus, with Rev. Joseph Hardin officiating.
