Bradley Rogers

SPC SPC Bradley Paul Rogers, 23, of Ooltewah, died on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, while on home from leave from the U.S. Army.He was born in Belvoir, Va., and attended Ooltewah High School. Bradley loved the outdoors and working on cars with his dad. He joined the U.S. Army in May 2008 and served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Survivors include his father, Brian Rogers, Ooltewah; mother, Jennifer Rogers, Tunnel Hill, Ga.; sisters, Angela (Jason) VanAllman, East Brainerd and Michelle Rogers, East Brainerd; paternal grandparents, Donald P. (Patricia) Rogers, Topeka, Kan., and Jeanette (James) Byerley, Chattanooga; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Louise Cummings, Dunlap, Tenn., and several extended family members.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 4, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Cecil Williams officiating.Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
