Carolyn AshleyCarolyn Carter Ashley, 85, died on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in a local hospital.She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga attending the Chattanooga City Schools. Mrs. Ashley was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. She worked for Vance Iron and Steel Co. and American Lava.Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dye Ashley; mother, Mina K. Carter; aunt and uncle, J. Fred and Ruth Kennedy.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev.
