Jodine F. Dalton. Our family lost a very special person on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013. Jodine, 64, of West Palm Beach, Fla., was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was kind, loving, honest and a devout Christian.She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was kind, loving, honest and a devout Christian. Jodine was born in Chattanooga, to Aubrey and Mary Harper on May 26, 1948. She graduated from Rossville High School in 1966 and attended the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. She worked in a leadership position for McKee Foods Corporation for many years and was heavily involved with many charitable organizations including: United Way, Ronald McDonald House and Habitat for Humanity.Jodine is survived by her husband, J. Broocks Dalton, of West Palm Beach; sons, Jeff (Renee) Francis, of Ringgold, Ga. and Jason Francis, of Lookout Mountain, Tenn. grandson, Joshua Francis; granddaughters, Julia, Emily, Holly, Ashley and Lauren Francis; sister, Bonnie (George) Pettway, of Naples, Fla.; brothers, Aubrey (Joy) Harper and David Harper, both of Chattanooga; and many nieces and nephews.A Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Chattanooga. A Celebration of her life will be held in Highlands, N.C. this summer.She will be missed but never forgotten.
