Doyle Everett

Doyle Eugene Everett, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 in a local hospital. He was the son of the late John Alexander and Elsie Geurin Everett. Doyle was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and graduated from Tyner High School in 1950. He then served in the U.S. Navy Aviation during the Korean Conflict. Doyle retired from BellSouth after 28 years of service. He was a life-time member of the Chattanooga Elks Lodge #91 and member of Morris Hill Baptist Church.Doyle was preceded in death by his brothers, John Edward, Billy Alford and James Oscar Everett; sisters, Nellie Fullam, Lucille Rhinehart and Mabel A. Everett. and his Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Mildred Hughes Everett; two daughters, Terry Everett-Clark and Nancy Everett-Asbury; one granddaughter, Natalie Clark; sister, Allie Worley; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Mason officiating.
