Daisy Vaughn

Daisy Lou Vaughn, 90, of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 14, 2013.She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was a member of South Soddy Baptist Church. She was a caregiver for most of her life and enjoyed reading and studying her Bible and singing gospel songs.She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Mewborn Sr. and Victoria Mewborn; brother, Clifford Mewborn Jr.; and sister, Irene Taylor. Survivors include her sister, Maybelle Dockery; brothers, Claude Mewborn and Fred Mewborn, all of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.The family will begin receiving friends after 4 p.m. today and prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.Arrangements by W.L.
