Josephine Bristow

Josephine Griffith Bristow, 95, of Ooltewah, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at a local healthcare facility.She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Wallace Bristow.Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Al) Miller, of Ooltewah; sons, Ron (Mary Ann) Bristow, of Dallas and Bill (Gail) Bristow, of Knoxville; six grandchildren, Scott (Julie) Bristow, of Cincinnati, Kent (Stacey) Bristow, of Knoxville, James (Courtney) Bristow, Becky (Isaac) Haas, of Dallas, Chip (Mary) Miller, of Georgetown and Lesley (Tom) Rice, of Hixson. Also surviving are 12 great-grandchildren with another coming soon.The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. today, March 16, at Meadowview Baptist Church followed by a celebration of life at 2 p.m.Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the ministries dearest to Mrs. Bristows heart: "Bible in the Schools", P.O.
