"Rat" Woodard, 62, died Sunday, March 17, 2013.Preceded in death by brother, Jim "Woody" Woodard; parents, Albert "Peedab" Woodard and Linda Oleen Jones Woodard.Survived by daughter, Angie Woodard Smith and husband, David, of LaFayette; son, Kevin Woodard and wife, Charity, of Ringgold; sisters, Ann Woodard Wallin and Sheila Woodard, both of LaFayette; grandchildren, Cody Mitchell, Terry S. Woodard, Bryson Smith and Drew Woodard; several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 2p.m. Wednesday conducted by the Rev. Dewey Blalock.Pallbearers are Cody Mitchell, David Smith, Drew Woodard, Bryson Smith, Terry S. Woodard, Greg Wood, Jody Fowler and Donny Raines.Honorary pallbearers are Calvin Woodard, David Woodard, Rick Sheehan, Jim Hood, Steve Gravitt, Danny Keith and Gary Woodward.Interment in Trinity Cemetery.Visitation at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. today.Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
