Charlotte Jane Jones, 55, of Apison, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, in Memorial hospital after a brief battle with cancer. With great courage and confidence, she looked forward to being with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.Charlotte was born Sept. 30, 1957 in El Paso, Texas. She received her AA from Florida College in Temple Terrace, Fla., and graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. She was employed by First Tennessee Bank on Highway 58 as a teller and formerly by Hallmark in Hamilton Place Mall.She worshiped with the saints at North Hixson Church of Christ in Hixson. Charlotte touched many lives with her generous spirit, warm smile, wonderful sense of humor, and great love for the Lord. She desired to share that love with others. Having taught childrens bible classes for many years, she was admired by many and will be remembered for her dedication. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was an avid UT football and Kentucky basketball fan.She was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Reese.Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Steve Jones; son, Jared Jones, of Apison; son, Jeff Jones, of Apison; mother, Glenda Reese, of Dyersburg, Tenn.; brother, Jack Marshall Reese, of Dyersburg; nephew, Alister Reese, of Dyersburg; father-in-law, Robert J. Jones Jr., of San Antonio, Texas; several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
