Marjorie Ellisor

Marjorie Ann Ellisor, 81, of East Ridge, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at her home. She was born Sept. 25, 1931 in East Ridge, a daughter of the late Arthur Frank May and Margaret Delilah Dearing May. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Raymond F. Ellisor Sr.; daughter, Margaret Sue Mealor Mumea; granddaughters, Melinda Mae Mealor Call and Valerie Ann Phillips; and three brothers, Bill May, Tom May and Jim May.She was a 1950 graduate of Central High School and was a member of Honestville Baptist Church.Survivors include children, Gary Lee (Dixie) Strange, Joyce Denise Pulliam and Charles Edward (Melissa) Ellisor; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Please share your thoughts and memoires at www.chattanoogaeastchapel.com.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel, 404 S.
