Joy Beene

Angela Joy Huffaker Weeks Beene, 72, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Erlanger Hospital.Joy is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Eric, and his wife, Laura; daughter, Paula Baulch; and her husband, Joel; her grandchildren, Kelly Baulch and Patrick and Michael Beene. Joy is also survived by her brothers, Gerald and wife, Sandra Weeks and James and wife, Martha Weeks; and her lifelong family friend, Treva Turner.Joy was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Ruby and Arnold Weeks; her father, Glen Huffaker; and an infant daughter, Autumn Shayne Beene.A private memorial service is planned later.Cremation arrangements are being conducted by the Neptune Society.Since education was so important to Joy, in lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Class of 1958 Scholarship Fund, c/o Juanita Davis, 8988 Lake Carolyn Lane, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
