ROSSVILLE Marguerite Hatfield, 72, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at her home after a two year battle with congestive heart failure. She was a long time member of Fairview Baptist Church and a member of the Vota Vita Sunday School Class. She loved to read and donated books to the church library. She kept her Bible close by and read it daily. She loved her Lord and Savior and on Good Friday she moved out of a body of pain into the healing hands of God.She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Claude Wallace; son, Hollis Hatfield; grandchildren, Joshua and Bethany Berry; guardians, Bob and Mildred Crawford.Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Howard Hatfield; son, James Hatfield; daughter, Angela (Ron) Berry; her little darling grandson, Jamie Berry and sister, Donna Watkins. She also leaves to cherish her memory many friends especially the Kincaid and Martin families whom she thought of as brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and grandchildren.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.comFuneral services will be held on Monday, April 1, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Bennett officiating.
