Katy Carden, 42, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Sunday April 28, 2013.She was a paper carrier for the Times Free Press for many years.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Katie Miller, Authur and Sara Margaret Carden; nephew, Nathan Dent.She is survived by her parents, Paul and Wanda Carden; son, Leroy Kilgore of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Brittany Sneed of Hixson; brothers, Pete Miller, of Soddy-Daisy, Donnie Carden, of Chattanooga; sisters, Paula Sneed, of Sale Creek, Stephanie Johnson, of Soddy-Daisy, Joyce Carden, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Gage Hair; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Clankston Freeman officiating.Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 2-9 PM today at the funeral home.
