Patte GraydonLITTLE ROCK, Ark. Patte Ball Graydon, 90, of Little Rock, and Richardson, Texas, died on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.She was born in Batesville, Ark., to Lois and G.C. Ball on Oct. 1, 1922. She attended public schools and Hendrix College in Conway, Ark. She was a longtime member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Patte was a member of the Upper Room Sunday School Class, The Arkansas Arts Center and a Sunday School teacher. She spent several years as a Cub Scout Den Mother. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a resident of Little Rock from 1946 until 2004 when she moved to Richardson to be closer to her daughter.Patte is survived by her children, Dr. Douglas M. Graydon and Linda, of Chickamauga, Ga., and Mary Graydon Jessen and Scott, of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Brian M. Graydon and Lacine B. Graydon, of Chattanooga, Cory C. Graydon and Amanda, of Canton, Ga., Mary Katherine Jessen, of Austin, Texas and Caroline Lee Jessen, of Richardson, Texas. Patte is also survived by her first great-grandson, Miller Robinson Graydon, whom she had the pleasure of meeting and holding just a few short weeks ago.A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church in Little Rock.Memorials may be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205.
