BIRMINGHAM Carolyn W. Holder, 76, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Mrs. Holder is a former resident of Signal Mountain, Tenn. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be greeted in heaven by a son that preceded her in death, Bill Holder.Mrs. Holder is survived by her husband of 56 years Dan Holder; sons Steve Holder and Gary Holder; and 4 grandchildren.A time of visitation will be today from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Ridouts Valley Chapel in Homewood, AL. A graveside service will be Monday, May 6, at Noon EST at the Chattanooga Memorial Park in Chattanooga.In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimers Association, which can be found at alz.org
