Janice Prairie

Janice Gail Prairie, 55, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, May 2, 2013. She was born on Dec. 13, 1957 in Muskegon, MI and is the daughter of Lewis and Ollie French. Janice was married to Steve Prairie, who preceded her in death in May 1999. She was employed with BIMI and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Janice is now united in Heaven with her husband, Steve, her father, Lewis, one grandchild, and her four brothers-in-law.Survivors include her four children, David (Brandi) Prairie, Sarah (Tim) Pangburn, Stephanie and Joshua; three grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Gran Jan", Judah, Asher and Selah; mother, Ollie French; sisters, Judy Olsen and Brenda McClain; brothers, Robert (Sandy) French and Ernie French; father and mother-in-law, Rev. Jerry and Audrey Prairie and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Bennett and Dr. Steve Euler officiating.
