Marie BernerMarie Meiswinkel Berner, 91, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Orlando, Fla.She was born May 8, 1921, in Pottsville, Pa., to Albert and Marie Meiswinkel. She married William C. Berner in 1945 and relocated to Chattanooga where William worked for the TVA and Marie worked as a secretary for Railroad Express and later the superintendant of the Board of Education.After her husbands death, Marie relocated to Orlando, where she enjoyed 12 years in the company, friendship and personal care of her devoted niece, Susanne M. Dalton, her family; and her surviving brother, Robert C. Meiswinkle and his wife, Felice. Marie is also survived by her loving sister, Jean M. Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Meiswinkel Jr.A graveside memorial will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
