Rosa PillowsRosa Mae Pillows, 72, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 3, 2013.She was born on Sept. 16, 1940 in Rome, Ga., to the union of John W. Jones Sr. and Nobia McCoy Jones.She was preceded in death by one brother, William E. Jones; and two sisters, Mary and Dale Jones. She was married to Bennie Pillows Sr.She leaves to cherish her memories: seven children, Clifford (Cassandra) Pillows, Alma (Jeffrey) Russell, Bennie (Sharmica) Pillows Jr., John (Gail) Pillows, Ruby (Derrick) Pillows, Brenda (Dale) Horten and Malinda (Kevin) Long; five sisters, Mary L. Jones Spivey of North Carolina, Sarah (Rev. James W. Williams Sr.) Janica Jones, Joyce (Alonzo Jr.) Trammell, Ruby (R.C.) Jones, all of Chattanooga; two brothers, John W. (Vivian) Jones Jr. and Charles Sale, of Columbus, Ga.; five half sisters; one half brother, brother-in-law, Wilbert (Tillecia) McClure and Linnell (Elerion) Richmond Sr., all of Chattanooga; 24 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; two dear friends, Maer Ray and Ann; a host of many other relatives and friends.Funeal services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, at New Hope Baptist church with Wayne Johnson,pastor and Ray Andrew Bullard III, eulogist, and other ministers assisting.Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.The body will lie in state from noon until 8 p.m. today.Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Funeral Cremation Services Franklin-Strickland-Pinkard-Bryan-Smith Funeral Directors. 1724 McCallie Ave., 423-265-4414.
