Maxine Durham

CHICKAMAUGA Maxine Bishop Durham, 88, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013.She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was on the Baptist faith.Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Durham; parents, William and Nellie Roberts Bishop; sons, Carl Durham, Dewayne Durham and Richard Durham; siblings, Ruth Harris, Allie Mae Morgan, Raymond Bishop, Wilburn Bishop and Teddy Roberts.She is survived by her daughters, Marjorie Dietz, Catheran Durham and Cheryl Bowman; sons, John Durham, Curley Durham, Albert Durham, James Durham, Michael Durham, Allen Durham, Lebron Durham and Danny Durham; brothers, Charlie Bishop and Buddy Bishop; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today, May 18, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Virgil Durham officiating.Interment will follow in Old Antioch Cemetery.The family will receive friends prior to the service today.Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes, J. Avery Bryan Chapel.
