Alan Keay

Alan Scot Keay, died Monday, May 6, 2013, in Los Angeles, Calif. He was born May 17, 1965, Chattanooga.Alan was age 47 when he passed away at his home unexpectedly on Monday.He leaves behind his parents, Ike and Carolyn Keay, of Lynchburg, Va., (formerly of Bethel Bible Village in Chattanooga); his sister, Kim Keay-Dickert, also of Lynchburg; another sister, Deb McPherson, of Lynchburg; and a brother, Brian Keay, of Asheville, N.C. Also surviving him are seven nieces and nephews, Nathaniel, Ian, Christopher and Justin Keay and Alexander, Eilidh and Fiona McPherson.Additionally, he leaves behind two uncles, Alex Keay, of Titusville, Fla., and Jim Conrad, of Richmond, Va., and first cousins, Douglas and James Keay, of Santa Cruz, Cali., Karen Keay Klimowski, of Kampala, Uganda, Andrew Conrad, of Richmond, Va., Laurie Conrad Shively, of Fredericksburg, Va., and John Conrad, of Chattanooga.A memorial service and supper will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Heritage Baptist Church (Base Camp) Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, Va., for family and close friends.Memorial gifts may be made to Bethel Bible Village, P.O. Box 729, Chattanooga, TN 37343. This is a children's home where Ike and Carolyn served as missionaries and where their children were raised.
