RINGGOLD Brenda Renee Alexander, 46, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 16, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Baptist faith. Her purpose and priority in life was taking care of and being with her family and friends, she loved taking care of animals and just riding around sightseeing and being outdoors. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana and sister who will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Joyce Graham.Survivors include her loving husband of more than 11 years, Robert Alexander of Ringgold; daughters and son-in-law, Jodie Boles, of Fort Oglethorpe, and Jackie (Jeremy) Brown, of Rossville; four stepchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Michael (Cris) Graham, of Ringgold; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tina (Stanley) Rosson, of Rossville, and Nancy (Stanley) Barnes, of Clermont, Ga.; three grandchildren, Laila Cates, Alasia Brown and Dallas Brown; several aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends; and her loving dogs, Elvis and Sissy.Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. today, May 19, 2013, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother Vince Dean officiating.Burial will be private.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
