Edna Madaris

Edna Mae Madaris, 87, Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 18, 2013, in a Soddy-Daisy Healthcare facility.She was born in Chattanooga on Oct. 9, 1925 a daughter of the late James Rufus and Lucille Robinson Madaris. Miss Madaris had worked at Peck and Paws helping on the assembly line helping to make fishing equipment.Edna attended the Chattanooga Valley Church of Christ and Daisy Church of Christ.Survivors are her loving sisters, Marilyn Roberts, of Soddy-Daisy, Gracie Morton, of Ringgold and Helen Wrape, of High Point, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, with Tommy Madaris officiating.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
