Harry Wells

Harry Wells, formerly of Red Bank, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Georgia. He was 103 years old.Harry was the oldest living member of Red Bank Baptist Church. He was a dedicated family man and will be missed by all that knew him.Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Wampler Wells; parents, William T. and Nettie Wells; brother, Verdman Wells; and a sister, Evelyn Dugger.Harry is survived by his son, Bill Wells and daughter-in-law, Norma Wells ,of McDonough, Ga.; grandsons, William Wells Jr. and wife, Michelle, of Kennesaw, Ga., Wesley Wells and wife, Jennifer, of Conyers, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Melanie, Mitchell, Jacob and Payton.The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the North Chapel.Services for Harry will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Fred Steelman officiating.Burial will be in Buttram Cemetery in Dayton.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harrys name to the building fund at Red Bank Baptist Church, 4000 Dayton Blvd, Red Bank, TN 37415, or to your favorite charity.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanooganorthchapel.com.Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
