Elsie Swafford Sharp, 70, Hixson, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013, at her home with her loving family by her side.Mrs. Sharp was a member of New Union Baptist Church and retired from Laz-Boy where she was a Nurse. She was an active member of D.A.R. She loved spending her free time with her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert P. Swafford and mother, Fannie Neal Swafford.Survivors include her husband, Joseph L. Sharp; son, Bobby (Angie) Sharp; daughter, Melinda Temple; grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew Ager, Leann Hayes, Kristen Sharp and Kiowa Temple; brothers, Walter P. (Sandy) Swafford, John T.
