Ida Houchin

Ida Geraldine Houchin, 85, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013, in a local health care facility.She was the daughter of the late James and Myrtle Swartout and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Houchin; and two children, Brenda Keller and Wesley Dobbins.Ida was of the Baptist faith.Survivors include two brothers, Robert (Ruth) Swartout, of Birchwood, Gilbert (Sandy) Swartout, of Chattanooga; sister, Patricia (Michael) Lawson, of Chattanooga; granddaughters, Katrina Hopper, Cassie Burns and other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev.
