Cora Woodfin

FORT OGLETHORPE Cora Mae Woodfin, 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, May 20, 2013.She was born to the late Floyd and Ethel Redmon in McMinnville, Tenn. Cora was a graduate of Tyner High School and was of the Baptist faith.Cora was also preceded in death by her husband, Clark C. Woodfin Sr.; children, Joyce Conn, Deborah Woodfin and Clark Woodfin Jr.; sister, Christine (Ed) Blackwell; brothers, Clifford Redmon, Albert Redmon and Robert Redmon; and one great-great-granddaughter.She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (WC) Wingo, of Chickamauga; brother, Jimmy (Nan) Redmon, of Ooltewah; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Bill Proctor officiating.Interment will follow in Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery.The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. today and prior to the service on Friday.
