Charles Frazier

Charles E. Frazier, 76, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville.He was preceded in death by his parents, Elder Butler and Pressie Frazier; and brother, Elder Butler Frazier Jr. Charles was a member of Hawkinsville Missionary Baptist Church (HMBC) where he served for many years as a trustee. Charles graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Chattanooga, then proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He also attended Tennessee Agricultural and Industrial University in Nashville.Leaving behind to cherish his memory of 52 years, his devoted and loving wife, Mary Hopson Frazier of Chattanooga; son, Colonel (retired) Geofrey A. Frazier (Hazel), grandson, Geofrey A. Frazier II, and granddaughter, Jasmine R. Frazier, of Fairfax Station, Va.; sisters, Pressie (Luther) Wasson, of Stockton, Calif., Sara Cotton, Rosetta (Harry) Strickland, of Chattanooga and Terrelee Frazier, of Racine, Wis.; devoted cousins, Harvey Broadnax, Tillie Seay, and Patricia Broadnax, of Chattanooga; dear cousin-in-law, Emma Broadnax, of Chattanooga; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Hawkinsville Missionary Baptist Church, 7463 Pinewood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421, with Dr. Bobby L.
