Beth Scarbrough

Beth Amber Scarbrough, 36, of Soddy-Daisy, formerly of Knoxville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. She was an electrician and a member of IBEW. She was preceded in death by her father, Compton Cleophas "Sarge" Owens Jr. Beth is survived by her husband, Chris; daughter, Emery; mother, Gail Shepperd; brothers, Compton Owens III, of Alabama and Scott Owens, of Kingsport; sisters, Lynn Love, of Alabama, Jill Goodpasture and Hope Owens, both of Knoxville; mother and father-in-law, Polly and Curtis Scarbrough; brother-in-law, Ray Scarbrough and wife, Stephanie, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today, Nov. 2, at Union Fork Baptist Church in Soddy-Daisy with a Memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. The family will friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, at Click Funeral Home, Middlebrook Chapel in Knoxville, with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for the medical care of her daughter, Emery.
