Hugh Henry Young, 80, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Young was retired from TVA as an Ironworker with Local 704. He was preceded in death by parents, William Earl and Dora Ethel Gray Young; son, Ricky Dale Young; brothers, Cecil, Arland, John and Ernest Young. Survivors include wife, Lillie Releford Young; daughter, Jackie Tolbert; sons, David Young (Marie), Billy Young (Jennifer), Charles Young (Marilyn), Tommy Young (Michelle); grandchildren, Jared Edwards, Brittany Young, Vanity, Bradley and Brandon Young; great-grandchildren, Alesya Edwards; step-grandchildren, Jason Horton, Keith Horton, Angela Averette, Judy Neeley; step great-grandchildren, Cristen and Tristen Averette, Andy and LaShonda Horton, Lane Neeley; step-great-great-grandchild, Haylen Payne; brothers, Granville Young, Edward Young (Gladys); sisters, Doris Pennington (Charles), Jewell Blackburn (Sonny). Funeral services are Tuesday Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Watson Williams and the Rev. Randy Grider officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah cemetery.
