Margie Luttrell

Margie Luttrell, 79, a longtime resident of Chattanooga went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013. A graduate of Tyner High School, Mrs. Luttrell was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church and was a retired Nurse from Erlanger Hospital and T.C. Thompson Childrens Hospital with 30 years of service. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara Taylor and was also preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Kenneth Luttrell; and a brother, Amos Taylor. Survived by three daughters, Linda Murphy, of Chattanooga, Debbie (Jeff) Miller of Apison, Tennessee and Sharon (Thom) Mitchell, of Chattanooga; three sons, Mark Luttrell, of Chattanooga, Larry (Cathy) Luttrell, of Soddy-Daisy and Steve Luttrell, of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Brian) Givens, Jeffrey (Crystal) Dale, Branden Murphy, Morgan Murphy, Colby Luttrell and Justin Luttrell; three great-grandchildren, Sydney Dale, Emily Givens and Ethan Givens; four brothers, Bill Taylor, Kenny (Glenda) Taylor, Roy (Lynn) Taylor, Dewey Taylor; two sisters, Frances Taylor and Lucille Taylor; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Walliser and Rev. Eddie Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Silverdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Silverdale Baptist Church c/o Missions Fund, 7236 Bonny Oaks Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
