Mable Carmen Burkhalter, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013. She was a 1943 graduate of Central High School and retired from the U.S. Government as a cartographer. Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, Ebenezer Maxwell Burkhalter and Nellie Wade Burkhalter; and siblings, Gerry Hartman, Louise Perkins, Erwin M. Burkhalter and Edward B. Burkhalter. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Sarah Feye Burkhalter and Tommie Ann Burkhalter; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
