Rose Pierce

Rose Nell Pierce left this world on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, to seek her reward. She was born in Trion, Ga. and spent most of her life in Chattanooga. She and her late husband, Billy Joe Pierce were the owners and operators of Pierces Curb Market Restaurant on 11th Street for over 27 years. She was a member of Lakehills Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Audrey Mae and Donald Searles; grandson, William "Billy" Shawn Barney; sister, Donna Francis McNeese. A loving grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be missed. Survivors include daughter, Joanna Lynn Bethel, Robin Renee Evans and Stacie Janel Baker; and niece, Teresa Richarson Elmore; grandchildren, Wendy, Joey, Amber (Shane), Joshua (Emily) and Jessica; sisters, Betty Bell and Jennie Carter; brother, James David Searles; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Johnny Owens officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until 2:30 Friday at the funeral home.
