Johnny Bailey

LaFAYETTE Johnny E. Bailey, 78, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013. Johnny was a member of Nobel Church of God. He is a veteran of the United States Army. Johnny also owned and operated Floor Master Inc. in Chattanooga. Preceded in death by wives, Shirley Bailey and Jewell Bailey; son, Bo Bailey; mother, Hazel Bailey; father and stepmother, John and Maudie Bailey. Survived by sons and daughter-in-laws, Jimmy and Shelia, Eddie and Freda, Stacy and Lynn, Chuck and Christina, all of LaFayette; brother, Freddy and wife, Bernice Bailey, of Tiftonia; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. today. Service conducted by Rev. Henry Hampton and Rev. Freddie Severs. Interment in LaFayette Memory Gardens. The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
