Joyce McDonald

Joyce McDonald, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013. She worked for the Federal Government for over 25 years retiring from the Veterans Administration. She was last employed with Wilkins Research. Joyce was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She enjoyed crafts, painting and making hand-made greeting cards. Joyce liked to garden, loved animals and nature. Survivors include her son, Sean (Cheryl) McDonald, of Hixson; grandson, Logan McDonald; special family, J.D. and Sandra Yother, Clark and Wendy Griffith, Brother Tom Field Jr. and family, John and Jean Carr and family, Louann Field and family; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Micah Sturm officiating. Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
