Berge Wooldridge

Berge Wade Wooldridge, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away 11:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Sweetwater Hospital. Retired from Public Service Commission and graduated from Vonore High School and Hiwassee College. He was an Elder of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Chattanooga. Lifetime member of Vonore Masonic Lodge #658. Preceded in death by wife, Joyce Clarkson Wooldridge; parents, Berge L. and Della Mason Wooldridge; sisters June and Joyce Wooldridge. Survivors: brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Priscilla Wooldridge, Madisonville; niece and spouse, Sonya and John Singson, Atlanta; nephews and spouses, Bryan Wooldridge, Madisonville, Dr. Paul Chip and Beth Wooldridge, Kentucky, Kelsey Wooldridge, Madisonville; stepchildren, Pat and Mike Clarkson, both of Chattanooga; great-nieces, Mariah, Kylie, Madeline, Pyten, Sydney and Ainsley; great-nephews, Zack, Peter, Isaac, Simon, Caden, Preston and Eli. Graveside service and interment 11 a.m. Monday, Lakewood Memory Gardens, East, Chattanooga, Dr. Gary Carver officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Chattanooga. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
