Iris Gordy

Estelle Werndli Gordy, 81, died Thursday Nov. 14, 2013. Mrs. Gordy was a longtime resident of Chattanooga area before retiring to Paluski. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Ruby Wood Werndli and was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Clyde Gordy. Survivors include her son Lee Gordy, of Pulaski; sister Allene Perry, of Atlanta, Ga.; Grandson Kevin Gordy, of Lakeland, Fla.; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday Nov. 21, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
