Betty Rhodes

LaFAYETTE Betty Jean Mead Rhodes, 67, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Heritage Healthcare in LaFayette. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area she was of the Baptist faith. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Rhodes; and parents, Gordon Lee and Frances Louise Brown Mead. She is survived by her daughter, Lillie Rhodes (James) Bradley, of Ooltewah; two grandchildren, Linda Rhodes and Latonya Bradley, both of Ooltewah; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Baxter addition of Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. today and Thursday until funeral time at the funeral home. An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
