Carmileta Decker

Carmileta Decker, 69, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, in Dayton, Ohio. She was born Jan. 14, 1944, in Chattanooga to the late Houston Hubert and Willie Ruth McNabb. Carmileta worked for Republic Tool, Frigidaire and retired from General Motors. In addition to her parents, Carmileta was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Carmen; brothers, Ray, Olan, Donald and Ronald; and sisters, Fay, Diane and Sarah Mae. Carmileta is survived by her children, Charles (Mary Ann) Decker, Debbie Decker and Eddie (Tamelia Sue) Decker; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Norman and Walter; sister, Angela; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.
