Agnes Kilgore

Agnes Ann Kilgore, 85, of Soddy Daisy, formerly of Whitwell, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, with her family by her side. Agnes was born on April 25, 1928, a daughter of the late Bill and Martha Kilgore. She worked many years in food service and retired from Bea's Restaurant. Agnes is preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Kilgore; three brothers, four sisters, one grandchild Kathy Jones, and one great grandchild, Shonda Barnes. Agnes is survived by her sister, Aline Gossett; two sons, Richard (Patricia) Kilgore and Danny Kilgore; one daughter, Phyllis (Johnny) Jones; seven grandchildren, Sheila, Jerry, Sherry, Tammy, Wade, Randy and Christy; nineteen great grandchildren, Jon Ryan, Erica, Levi, Raymond, Reba, Rusty, Katherine, Dustin, Austin, Joshua, Brittany, Jacob, April, Gary, Austin, Amanda, Caleb, Cindy and Matthew; eleven great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 3-8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary T. Moore officiating. Internment at Red Hill Cemetery.
