W.C. Billingsley:

William C. "W.C." Billingsley, 82, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at his childhood home in Whitwell, Tenn. He lived in Whitwell most of his life. W.C. was the Marion County 2004 Conservation Farmer of the Year. He retired from Cutter Laboratories and Waldon Security Co. W.C. was preceded in death by his parents, Henrie Ellen and James S. Billingsley; siblings including, Mona Kay Billingsley, Edna Mae Mosley, Wilma Billingsley, Mable Downey and Alan P. "A. P." Billingsley. Family members to cherish his memories are wife of 37 years, Joyce Dover Billingsley; daughter, Linda Renee Billingsley Stamey; granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Stamey and son-in-law, Thomas D. Stamey. W. C. also will be remembered by his stepfamily, which includes two stepsons, Robert Steven Rheal, and Odis Allen Rheal; seven step-grandchildren and nine stepgreat-grandchildren; and one sister, Lorraine Hamby, of Jacksonville, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. CST Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, with Brother Roger Webb and Brother Ronnie Case officiating.
