Velma Lockhart

Velma P. Lockhart, 83, passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 26, 2013, at her home. She was preceded in death by husband, Jim Lockhart; parents, Charlie and Bessie Sims. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Craig) Camp; eight sons, David (Fern), Terry (Shirley), Ralph (Denice), Donald (Beverly), Jesse (Celena), Loyd Lockhart, all of Dunlap and Robert (Becky) Lockhart, Centerville, Tenn., Jackie (Gwen) Lockhart, North Augusta, S.C.; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby (Richard) Bureau, Betty (John) Harvey and Alma (Ronny) Young, all of Signal Mountain; two brothers, Norman (Jessie) Sims, Dunlap and Claude (Carolyn) Sims, Red Bank; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. CST Friday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Camp Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. CST today. No visitation on Thursday.
