Johnnie Lawley

Johnnie Lawley, 85, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 Johnnie worked for DuPont for 30 years as a control operator. He was a veteran of the army and served during the Korean War Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Kathleen Lawley; brother Bud Lawley; sister Faye Conroy; great grandsons Carl Austin and Bradyn McCarter. Johnnie is survived by his wife Betty Lawley; daughter Laquita (Gary) Austin and Debbie Jo Brady; grandchildren Gary Austin, Jr., Brian Austin, Cindy Brady and Christy, Crystal, Cathy Arrington and Courtney Minor; great grandchildren Karli and Aaron Austin, Baylie, Nick, Krista Smith, George, Mathew, Jacob Austin, Shannon, Shane, Tyler Wright Zackary Whitmire, Samantha Green, Corey Palmer, Deonta, Lindsey, Ivyon Crawford, Mikey Berry; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends today, Nov. 29, from 3-7 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel and Saturday from Noon to 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow to Chattanooga Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel, Highway 153, Hixson, Tennessee 37343.
