James Blaylock

Mr. James Nimrod "Jim" Blaylock, 81, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, Tenn. He was born in Palmer on Dec. 6, 1931, to James Robert "Bob" and Allie Cagle Blaylock who preceded him in death along with his son, Eckerd Blaylock; sisters, Geneva Pemberton and Lois Dykes. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Blaylock; daughter, Melba Diane McGee; brother, Robert Howell (Betty) Blaylock; caregivers, Tony and Buffy Anderson.
