BRIDGEPORT Bertie Kate Webb Harvey, 77, formerly of Jasper, Tenn., died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, in a local nursing home.The daughter of the late Hubert and Martha Crowe Webb, she attended the Church of Christ and was retired from Jasper Elementary School after working as the school secretary for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Bud" Harvey; sisters, Dorothy Newcom, Cathryn Catun, Anna Faye Evert, Gertie Webb and Virginia Haynes; and brother, John C. Lewis.She is survived by her daughters, Martha (Michael) Irwin, of South Pittsburg, Tenn. and Dottie Harvey, of Jasper, Tenn.; son, Jim (Esther) Harvey; sisters, Pat Crowe, of Jasper and Betty Louise Dagnan, of Knoxville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Catherine Roberson and Jo Elliott.Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. CDTon Thursday, Oct. 3, with Rev.
