Ruby Hatten

Ruby Lee Hatten, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2013, in a local hospital.She was formerly employed at Krystal Bakery and was a member of Second St. James Missionary Baptist Church where she was on the Mothers Board. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Walters and Louise Collins; husband Harl Hatten, Jr.; daughters, Odessa Moon and Louise Conley; granddaughter, Shanika Collins.Survivors include her children, Pearlie Hockenhull, Linda Stinson, Brenda Collins, Glenda Collins, Tony L. (Cleona) Hatten, Warrick D. (Alvenia) Hatten; son-in-law, Tommie Conley; 16 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; aunts, Billie White and Dorothy Swanson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends.The body will lie in state after 3 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, at Second St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor James Merriwether as the eulogist. Burial: at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Hills Cemetery.
