Denise Annette McManus, 49, of Chattanooga, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at a Chattanooga hospital.She was involved in childrens ministries for many churches in the Church of God. She was a professional clown and professional puppeteer, which she used in her ministry. She was a member at North Cleveland Church of God.She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Edward Hale.She is survived by mother and her husband, Wanda and Howard Clayton, of Chattanooga; brothers, Harlan Hale, of Chattanooga, Dan Clayton, of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Tim Clayton, of Chattanooga; nieces and nephews, Aaron Hale, Matthew Hale, Dene Clayton and Lisa Clayton.Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. today, Oct. 10, 2013, in the Dixon Chapel of North Cleveland Church of God with the Rev. Mitch Maloney and wife, Sharon, the Rev. Cecil Guiles and the Rev.
