Robin Etta Corn, 58, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, after a long battle with Leukemia, PML and other health issues.Robin was born May 13, 1955 in Chattanooga. Robin graduated from City High School and Chattanooga State Jr. College. Until her illness prevented her from working, she was employed by UNUM of Chattanooga. Robin loved to cook and loved crafts. She enjoyed traveling when she could. She was a member of Forrest Avenue Methodist Church until her move to East Ridge and then she changed her membership to East Ridge Methodist Church.Robin was preceded in death by her father, Norman M. Corn Sr. and mother, Mary Ella Cass Corn.Survivors include her three sisters, Teraca Supthin (James), of Grant, Ala., Pat Sundstrom (Buddy) and Marilyn Hardy (Charles); two brothers, Norman Corn (Sarah) and George Corn (Becky), of Chattanooga; three nephews, Jamy Supthin, of Grant, Ala., Tim Hardy, of Chattanooga and Billy Corn, of California; four nieces, Kim Barnes (Randy), of Grant, Ala., Lori McDaniel (Keith), of Glenn Allen, Va., Sandy Pricer (Joe) and Annie Corn, of California; six great-nieces; five great-nephews; also a large extended family and friends.Special thanks goes to the staff of the Red Bank Life Care Center for their care of Robin.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Minister Laura Trent officiating.Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
