Charlie Zeanah

Charles (Charlie) Henry Zeanah departed this life and entered into eternal peace on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013. He was a gentle man with a huge heart, who loved God and loved his family and friends.He was employed with Echols Furniture for over 30 years and was an active member of Delashmitt Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Chester Zeanah; his mother, Juanita Knight Zeanah; brother, Donald A. Zeanah; and infant brother. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Brenda Smith Zeanah; son, Mike (Donna) Zeanah; daughter, Katy (Barry) Smith; step-son, Ken Tipton III; step-daughter, Maggie (Jeff) Stockton; sister, Shelby (Paul) Beck, sister, Barbara (Frank) Guttery; five grandchildren, Daniel Shawn McDaniel, Caren (Heath) Green, Casey (Jacob) Hamby, McKenna and Brock Stockton; three great grandchildren, Piper Green, Lily and Iris Hamby and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 15, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home 601 Ashland Terrace with the Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Delashmitt Road Baptist Church 4709 Delashmitt Road Hixson, Tn. 37343.
