Jeremy Hentz

CHICKAMAUGA Jeremy Davis Hentz, 31, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013.He was born in Athens, Ga., to the proud parents, Vicki Smith Hentz and William Davis Hentz.He graduated from Gordon Lee High School, employed by David Hentz Law Practice and was of the Presbyterian faith.He was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Vera Smith, and Clark and Corinne Hentz.Jeremy is survived by his parents, David and Vicki Hentz; brothers, Jon and Joey Hentz; sister, Heather Reynolds; niece, Haley Elliott; nephew, Tobin Elliott, all of Chickamauga; and several cousins. Jeremy loved his family and friends, he professed his enduring and unfettered love for "Karma," the daughter he raised and cherished for a short time. He acknowledged his wonderful life he lived. In addition he was an avid and dedicated Georgia Bulldog fan; his last words included an enthusiastic "Go Dawgs!" He was a brilliant and talented musician. He loved literature, history and poetry. His grasp of detail amazed all that knew him. His love for farm life and Hearthstone Farm was huge. Greatly influenced by his grandparents, Clark and Corinne, He worked tirelessly on the farm and grew beautiful vegetables in the garden. He prided himself for his abilities with cattle, farm equipment and mending fences. Also among his last words was a testament to his life, as he deemed himself "bound for glory" Jeremy insisted his death be a celebration of lives; his own and those he loved.That Celebration of Lives will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Chickamauga Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Chris Robinson and the Rev. Michael Thomas officiating.The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to Hope Fellowship Church of Chickamauga.Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, J.
