Blenda Ryan

Blenda Blaine Ryan, 66, of Ringgold, Ga., went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, surrounded by her family.She was born Nov. 8, 1946, in Orlando, W.Va.Mrs. Ryan was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she worked with the AWANA Cubbies.Her father, Solomon Brown; brother, Jack Brown; sister, Barbara Brown; and brotherin-law, Charlie Neal preceded her in death.Survivors include her mother, Betty Brown of Heaters, W.Va.; her husband of 46 years, Jim Ryan; daughters, Tracy (Curt) Rowell and Melissa (Duane) Ferrel, both of Chattanooga; and grandchildren, Bethany, Olivia, James and Stephen Rowell, and Morgan, Maddie, Connor and Meg Ferrel, all of Chattanooga; sister, Bonnie Neal, of Leesville, La.; sister-in-law, Mary Brown, of Locust Grove, Ga.; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Euler officiating.The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. today, Oct. 18, 2013, at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.Additional visitation will be held at Stockert-Sizemore Funeral Home in Flatwoods, W.Va. on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, from 1-3 p.m. with a service to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel.Interment will follow at Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens in Heaters, W.
